The Black Summer bushfires of 2019 may be out, but for many, the mental trauma still burns.
A year on and Lifeline still receives up to 400 calls… every day.
WE partnered with Australian music icon Julia Stone Who had personally been affected, to highlight the continued need for mental health support for people affected by the Black Summer bushfires.
Together with Julia, we created a poem and combined it with a captivating animation. The animation starts with an MRI scan of a brain and transforms in response to Julia's lyrics, symbolizing the devastating mental toll the natural disaster had on many Australians and reassuring those struggling a year on that help is still available..
